You’ve made it through the visit to Home. I’m so sorry, but glad you’ve come back. Gifted is the third, and second-to-last book in the Stitch Up series.

While I promise I’ll make up for the lack of spice in Home, I do need to warn you that this book continues with the same themes from previous volumes.

These include, but are not limited to:

Detailed descriptions of a main character’s corpse. Descriptions of a stillborn baby. Loss and grief. Strong suicidal ideation, on-page suicide attempts and self-harm. Many mentions of and references to nonconsensual abortions, resulting in the perceived inability to procreate. Many mentions of genetics and the inability to procreate (from both male and female perspectives). Characters suffering from a myriad of mental conditions including anxiety, PTSD, depression, panic attacks. Possessive, controlling and abusive behaviour. Graphic descriptions of blood, gore, assault and slaughter. Alcohol and pill consumption. On-page rape of a female character. On-page consensual sexual interactions between main characters.

This book ends on a major cliffhanger, but the story immediately picks up where it left off in book four of the series.
